At ThumbLion, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for credit packages purchased on our platform.

💡 Our commitment: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using credits you paid for, we will make it right — either by restoring your credits or issuing a refund.

1. Credit-Based Purchases

ThumbLion sells analysis credits in packages (monthly or lifetime). Credits are consumed each time you run a thumbnail analysis or use a credit-based tool. Because credits are digital goods that are immediately available upon purchase, all sales are generally final.

2. Eligibility for a Refund

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Technical failure: Credits were deducted but the analysis failed to complete due to a confirmed bug or server error on our end.
  • Duplicate charge: You were charged twice for the same purchase.
  • Unauthorized charge: A payment was made without your authorization (please also contact your bank).
  • Unused credits within 7 days: You purchased a credit package, have not used any credits, and request a refund within 7 days of the purchase date.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not issued in the following cases:

  • Credits have been fully or partially consumed.
  • More than 7 days have passed since the purchase date.
  • The refund request is based on dissatisfaction with AI analysis results, as AI outputs are inherently probabilistic.
  • Your account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Lifetime plan purchases after 7 days of purchase.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us through our contact page with the following details:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • The date of the purchase and the amount charged.
  • The reason for the refund request.
  • Any relevant screenshots or error messages (for technical issues).

We review all refund requests within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Credit Restoration

In cases where a technical failure caused credits to be consumed without delivering a result, we will restore those credits to your account promptly — usually within 24 hours of your report being verified. You may choose credit restoration instead of a monetary refund.

6. Payment Processor Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we may be unable to process a refund directly. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we are happy to resolve issues quickly without the need for a formal dispute.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Purchases made before a policy change are subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
